The Key Account Associate supports the management and development of key customer accounts by building strong relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and delivering customer-focused solutions. The role contributes to revenue growth through effective account coordination, pipeline development, and consultative sales practices aligned with Yokogawa’s commercial strategy. A key focus of this role will be supporting a strategic customer, Rolls-Royce SMR (Small Modular Reactors). You will receive structured training to build a strong understanding of this customer’s business, projects, and requirements. A significant portion of your responsibilities will be dedicated to this account, with the opportunity to expand into a broader customer portfolio over time as business needs evolve.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management
- Support the development and execution of account plans for assigned customers
- Maintain regular contact with customers to strengthen relationships and ensure satisfaction
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with customer needs
- Business Development
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
- Support sales activities including customer meetings, presentations, and follow-ups
- Customer Engagement & Solution Selling
- Understand customer needs, challenges, and business drivers through structured engagement
- Assist in developing and presenting tailored value propositions
- Support the sales process from opportunity identification through to closure
- CRM & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (e.g., Workday)
- Track opportunities, activities, and customer interactions

- Gather and share customer feedback to support continuous improvement
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities

What we promise to offer:
- Competitive salary, level depending on experience, plus incentive package
- Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Flexibility will be required to meet customer and business needs
- Superb benefits including car allowance, company pension contribution up to 12.5% dependent upon criteria, private medical insurance and healthcare scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with increments based on length of service
