The predicted salary is between 44 - 66 £ per hour.

A well-established engineering firm specialising in the design and delivery of complex rotating equipment and handling systems is looking to hire a Senior EC&I Engineer on a long-term outside IR35 contract (initial 12 month duration). You’ll join a highly skilled team working on a strong pipeline of projects in the energy and industrial sectors. This is a hybrid role (3 days on-site, 2 remote) based in Glasgow.

Key Experience Sought:

  • Proven EC&I engineering background within heavy industrial environments.
  • Electrical design experience.
  • Solid knowledge of MV motors, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).
  • Hazardous area design experience (IEC 60079, ATEX).
  • Experience with skid-mounted/package units (instrument hook-up, loop checks, cabling, glands, JBs).
  • Familiarity with machine monitoring systems (e.g. Bently Nevada).
  • Strong documentation and drawing skills (AutoCAD, P&IDs, loop diagrams, I/O lists, panel layouts, etc.)
