This one is about actually delivering technology that ends up in real wireless and satellite communication systems. If you enjoy being close to the engineering, understand how hardware/software teams work, and like bringing order to complex technical programmes, you’ll want to read on. What the role looks like You’ll manage one or more major development projects spanning hardware, firmware and software. That means: * Turning evolving ideas into clear plans, deliverables and schedules. * Keeping cross-functional engineering teams aligned and heading in the same direction. * Helping unblock issues, managing risks and communicating progress with your eyes open. * Working with customers, suppliers and internal leaders when the project needs you. * Improving project management tools, processes and reporting as the company scales. This is a hands-on role in a business where delivery actually matters — and where good project managers are seen as enablers, not administrators. Who this would suit You’ll enjoy this job if you like working alongside smart engineers, asking good questions, and helping teams perform at their best. You’ll be based in the Southampton office 2–3 days a week, because that’s where the real collaboration happens. What you need (just the essentials) * Experience managing technical projects in software, hardware or firmware. * Ability to plan, coordinate and track work across multiple engineering streams. * Confidence communicating with engineers, customers and senior stakeholders. * A practical understanding of delivery approaches (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid). If you also have exposure to wireless systems, semiconductor IP, embedded development or system integration — great, but not essential.
