We are currently recruiting for a Hardware Engineer to join a growing technology business developing a range of electronic systems and products. This role will see you working across both existing (legacy) products and next-generation designs, taking ownership of hardware development from concept through to testing and validation.
The Role
As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of electronic systems, including working on a variety of products and peripherals. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing electronic circuits and systems from concept to production
- Producing schematics and PCB layouts
- Supporting both legacy product updates and new product development
- Building and testing prototypes, including verification and validation
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Producing clear technical documentation and reports
Requirements
- Around 4-6 years experience in hardware/electronics design
- Strong circuit design and PCB layout skills
- Experience working across the full hardware development lifecycle
- Ability to take ownership of designs and deliver independently
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
Desirable:
- Experience with wireless technologies
