We are looking for an experienced HV Contracts Manager to lead and grow High Voltage (HV) operations in Aberdeen. This is a unique opportunity for the first hire in the region, giving you the chance to build your own team, shape business growth, and take ownership of project delivery, client relationships, and operational success.

The Role

  • Lead all HV operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
  • Define project scopes, allocate resources, and manage delivery from tender through to completion.
  • Identify and develop new HV business opportunities, prepare quotations, and manage client accounts.
  • Typical contract management will vary in value from small works to larger maintenance contracts.
  • Typical HV equipment knowledge such as circuit breakers and transformers will be valuable when pulling together quotes and tendering for larger projects.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team as the business grows.
  • Support the Operations Manager in setting strategic goals and driving profitability.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience managing HV projects or operations within an engineering or electrical contracting environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HV systems and sound commercial awareness.
  • Minimum 5 years management experience.
  • Electrical Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or Degree) desirable.
  • IOSH, SMSTS, or equivalent Health & Safety qualification essential.
