Role: Contract Senior EC&I Engineer
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid 2 Days From Home)
Job Type: 12 month contract outside of IR35
A well-established engineering firm specialising in the design and delivery of complex rotating equipment and handling systems is looking to hire a Senior EC&I Engineer on a long-term outside IR35 contract. You’ll join a highly skilled team working on a strong pipeline of projects in the energy and industrial sectors. This is a hybrid role (3 days on-site, 2 remote) based in Glasgow.
Proven EC&I engineering background within heavy industrial environments:
- Electrical design experience.
- Experience with skid-mounted/package units (instrument hook-up, loop checks, cabling, glands, JBs).
- Familiarity with machine monitoring systems.
- Strong documentation and drawing skills (AutoCAD, P&IDs, loop diagrams, I/O lists, panel layouts, etc.)
