This is for the Sales Account Manager who’s tired of vague targets, weak leads and being expected to “build their own desk from scratch”. We’ve got accounts that need developing. Some of them are already billing. You’ll walk into warm clients, have recruiters pipelining candidates for you from day one, and work alongside a stable team of grown-ups who know what they’re doing.
Yoh is an 80-year-old international recruitment business with clients across Product Engineering, IT, Life Sciences and Fintech. In the UK, we’re focused and tight-knit within Product Engineering. No bloated middle management. No forced culture hacks. Just a team of people doing good work and getting paid well for it.
What you’ll actually be doing:
- Taking ownership of a patch of active and lapsed clients in Product Engineering
- Developing new opportunities (with recruiter support on candidate sourcing and lead gen)
- Acting as the main contact for your accounts – if something goes wrong, they call you
- Collaborating with delivery to close deals and grow accounts
- Reporting progress to the team like a grown-up (not via a timesheet that gets audited to death)
What we’re looking for:
You’ve worked as an Account Manager, Business Development or in client-facing sales. You’re confident with B2B conversations, know how to build credibility, and want to be judged on outcomes, not box-ticking. If you’re driven, a natural collaborator, and want to work with autonomy (not under surveillance), we’ll probably get along.
Why this might be your best move this year:
- Autonomy from day one – no micro-management
- AI-powered sales tools and market mapping support
- Uncapped commission structure (earn up to 30% on what you bill)
- Hybrid working and a genuinely flexible team culture
- 13-week onboarding, clear career plan, 1:1 coaching
- Private healthcare, gym membership, monthly retail vouchers
- 25 days holiday, 3 Days at Christmas, Birthday + PerkBox access
