An ambitious and fast-growing clean-tech start-up is on a mission to make innovative energy storage the future. Enabling manufacturers, chemical processors, refineries, and other heavy industries to replace fossil-fuel heat with renewable energy. They’re developing a groundbreaking energy storage technology powered from 400V and 690V networks – and they’re looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to take the lead on all things electrical as they move from prototype to real-world industrial deployment.
As Senior Electrical Engineer, you will become the internal authority on electrical systems across both product development and customer site projects, helping define and deliver the electrical strategy behind a first-of-its-kind technology.
This is a rare opportunity to:
- Shape the electrical architecture of a new clean-energy product
- Influence key design decisions at an early commercialisation stage
- Work across R&D, manufacturing, and industrial site integration

Essential experience:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience designing and coordinating electrical systems at a system level.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and external subcontractors.
- Experience producing and maintaining clear, high-quality electrical documentation.
- Familiarity with UK industrial electrical standards.
- Strong understanding of industrial power systems (400–690V, 1–5MW)
- Ideal background working with Battery Energy Storage, Solar, Heat Pumps, CHP, Renewable, Oil & Gas or similar heavy industrial process industries.
