The Role
This is a varied role combining planned maintenance, reactive support, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering and managing a robust planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme
- Diagnosing and resolving equipment breakdowns quickly and effectively
- Supporting the installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new equipment and processes
- Using machine data and performance metrics to identify trends and drive improvements
- Managing critical spare parts inventory to minimise downtime
- Coordinating and overseeing external contractors and service providers
- Implementing upgrades and modifications to improve equipment performance and efficiency
You’ll play a critical part in ensuring production runs smoothly while also contributing to the evolution of the manufacturing capability.
What We’re Looking For
- Engineering qualification or strong hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostics across: PLC-controlled equipment, Electrical and mechanical systems, Pneumatics and hydraulics
- Experience working with Permits to Work and RAMS
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
