A leading engineering organisation is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to join their inspection team. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent understanding of dimensional inspection, and the ability to work within a fast-paced production environment.
You will be responsible for:
- Creating, modifying, and verifying CMM programmes
- Conducting dimensional inspections
- Supporting continual quality improvement across the site
- Performing CMM inspections on machined parts and communicating results to production teams
- Carrying out manual measurements on first-off and production components
- Supporting monthly CMM verification checks and general inspection duties
- Liaising with supervisors and quality teams regarding inspection findings and non-conformances
- Contributing to departmental housekeeping and adherence to QHSE procedures
- Providing demonstrations of inspection processes as required
Proven background in CMM programming and inspection is required, along with experience with PC-DMIS software (preferred) and high standards of accuracy and quality.
