An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manufacturing Quality Engineer to support a complex, high-reliability engineering and production environment within the aerospace and space sector. This is a hands-on position focused on improving manufacturing quality performance within a challenging production area experiencing elevated levels of non-conformance and delivery pressure.
The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to:
- drive root-cause investigations
- improve process discipline
- reduce recurring NCRs
- support production recovery activities
- improve manufacturing flow and yield
This role would suit someone with experience within:
- Space / satellite manufacturing
- Aerospace or defence production
- High-reliability assembly environments
- NCR / RCCA / 8D processes
- Manufacturing recovery and process improvement
