We’re looking for a proactive Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer to play a key role in supporting cutting-edge production processes and ensuring the reliability of critical manufacturing equipment. This is a varied role combining planned maintenance, reactive support, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering and managing a robust planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme
  • Diagnosing and resolving equipment breakdowns quickly and effectively
  • Supporting the installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new equipment and processes
  • Using machine data and performance metrics to identify trends and drive improvements
  • Managing critical spare parts inventory to minimise downtime
  • Coordinating and overseeing external contractors and service providers
  • Implementing upgrades and modifications to improve equipment performance and efficiency

You’ll play a critical part in ensuring production runs smoothly while also contributing to the evolution of the manufacturing capability.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Engineering qualification or strong hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostics across:
    • PLC-controlled equipment
    • Electrical and mechanical systems
    • Pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Experience working with Permits to Work and RAMS
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
