Job Description

Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Location: Wiltshire (on-site)

Salary: Circa £65,000, plus benefits

Most electronics roles are about incremental changes and maintenance work.

This one is about designing the electronics that define the performance of high-end audio systems. You’ll own designs end-to-end, working at the core of a small R&D team building complex, long-lived products.

The work

  • Design mixed-signal electronics using MCUs, DSPs, FPGAs and DACs/ADCs
  • Develop analogue circuits, power supplies, and high-speed digital designs
  • Take designs from concept through schematic, PCB, prototype, EMC and test
  • Work closely with embedded software, mechanical and test engineers

What they’re looking for

  • Strong commercial experience in electronics design
  • Depth across digital, analogue, power and high-speed systems
  • Confident using ECAD tools (Altium or similar) and lab equipment
  • Knowledge of EMC / ESD and designing to global standards

Why this role

  • Full ownership of real products, not small sub-blocks
  • Engineering-led culture with technical decision-making valued
  • Products with genuine complexity and long lifecycles
  • Ideas heard directly by engineering leadership…
