Yoh are working with a scaling client, who we have worked with now to grow the development and engineering team over the past few years. They are now looking to continue this with an addition of a DevOps Engineer to join the team to work alongside the deployment and testing departments.
As a business opportunity, they have their own proprietary AI software which in real time, monitors thousands of data points all within the water and water waste industry to develop a data-driven technology platform to be able to provide key insights to make efficient and effective decisions. They are located in Widnes, and would be looking for engineers to be able to commute to the office a minimum of 4 days a week. All other staff are in the office so this is a great opportunity to learn and develop further alongside outstanding engineering leading their field.
Responsibilities include:
- Implement CI/CD pipeline to train, validate and deploy machine learning model into cloud and edge.
- Generate GitHub actions for testing and post deployment to ensure proper running.
- Support the backend team in deploying to AWS.
Key Technology and skills would include:
- The use of Ansible to automate the setup and configuration of servers and applications.
- Github Actions for creating tests for all push and service requests.
- Edge development and primarily deployment.
