Avionics Systems Engineer – RAF Warton
Salary: £75,000 per annum
Role Type: Permanent
Yoh Solutions are seeking an experienced Avionics Systems Engineers to join a specialist team based at RAF Warton, working on next-generation fighter aircraft. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the design, development and integration of advanced avionics and mission-critical systems.
The Role:
- Lead and support concept development for fighter avionics systems.
- Manage requirements using DOORS.
- Contribute to system & sub-system design across the full lifecycle (V-Model).
- Support interface management and integration of Radar, IFF, and mission computer systems.
- Use tools such as Statemate, PCMS, and ICT for modelling, configuration, and interface control.
What we’re looking for:
- 3–5 years’ experience in avionics systems engineering.
- Strong background with avionics, flight controls, radar, IFF, and mission computer equipment.
- Experinence working on fast jet/ fighter aircraft.
- Solid understanding of safety-critical and defence systems.
- Previous roles such as ICD Engineer, Attack & Ident Engineer, or Front-End Engineer are advantageous.
