Yogamoo offers fun, structured and educational children yoga sessions for children aged from 4 to 11 years old in Primary Schools. If certified as a Children Yoga Teacher, please contact us to deliver 45mins-60mins weekly sessions in primary schools. Training can be provided. Actively recruiting now in Horley and Reigate. Please only apply if you already live within 2-5 miles of Horley and Reigate. This is a very part-time role with just 2-3 hours/week.
Responsibilities
- Understand all Pillars that underpin the Yogamoo teaching Methodology
- Bring to life our creative Lesson plans keeping children engaged
- Demonstrate professional presentation to school staff
- Model excellent and positive behaviour in front of children
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, as well as a firm but kind approach to teaching
- Represent Yogamoo values to parents and peers
- Be willing to train in Safeguarding, First Aid and Yogamoo programmes
- Valid DBS and Insurance to be obtained
Qualifications
- Experience of Yoga as a student (> 1 or 2 years)
- Previous experience working with Children in a Sports capacity, or Coaching or as School Staff, or Therapist
- Must be local to our schools to ensure punctuality and attendance at all times
- Yoga Teachers and Trainee Yoga Teachers welcomed but not necessary
- Qualifications as a Children Yoga Teacher for primary school aged children
- Training available to help you achieve your certification for the right candidate
