Self-employed Core Delivery Drivers enjoy freedom, flexibility and better financial rewards, plus all the support and benefits of being part of the wider Yodel team. No experience required; the more you deliver, the more you earn.
Competitive rates for each parcel you deliver or collect. Delivery drivers can earn between £18 and £20 per hour (paid per parcel). Pay rates include business mileage and operational costs. Daily and weekly payment options. As a self-employed driver you can access earnings the very next day via the app Onsi, or join the weekly payment cycle scheme after four weeks of completed deliveries.
Deliver up to 15 kg parcels. You can realistically deliver and collect between 16 and 25 parcels an hour, 6 days a week, depending on area and experience. The more parcels you take, the higher your revenue.
We provide an award-winning route-planning app that optimises routes and lets you liaise directly with customers. Regular work in the same area, 6 days a week, with major retailers. You stay local, know roads and customers, and receive backing from a Yodel representative to answer questions.
The life of a Core Delivery Driver: each day is what you make it. Plan your own route, scan parcels using your mobile to confirm receipts. We arrange a suitable time for you to collect parcels daily; for rural areas, we can drop to you.
