The Wonderfield Group has recently been purchased by Zensho Holdings, the leading food service company in Japan with a market cap of $5.5b and whose aim is to become the world's largest food company, a position from which we can eradicate hunger and poverty from around the globe. We operate restaurants, factories, and thousands of sushi kiosks and have recently built a successful cut fruit business, Snowfruit. Combining this with the three businesses previously owned by Zensho, AFC, Sushi Circle and Sushi Take, results in annual sales of $2.5b and Ebitda in excess of $140m a year with an ambitious growth trajectory.

We're looking for a seasoned and strategic Senior Franchisee Training Coach to lead and expand the training and development function across our dynamic and growing sushi franchise network. This includes both franchise-operated locations and corporate-run kiosks in retail settings. In this critical role, you'll ensure our franchise partners and PAC teams are fully prepared to deliver exceptional food, flawless operations, and a consistently outstanding customer experience.

From designing impactful training programs to coaching trainers and embedding brand standards, you'll play a key role in shaping the success of our teams across the board. Covering the whole of the Central Region, a licence and vehicle are required, and there will also be regular overnight stays.

Here's what you'll be responsible for and where you'll make the biggest difference:

  • Developing and delivering world-class training across our franchise network and corporate PAC kiosks.
  • Leading the onboarding of new franchise partners and PAC teams, providing structured, hands-on learning across sushi operations, food safety, team leadership, and customer experience.
  • Ensuring operational readiness will be at the heart of your work, making sure every team, whether brand new or long-established, consistently upholds our food, service, and compliance standards.
