Job Summary

In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required β€” your domain knowledge is what matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, manage, and maintain spatial databases and ensure data integrity and accuracy across projects.
  • Conduct advanced geoprocessing and spatial modeling using QGIS and integrate results into actionable insights.
  • Develop, customize, and maintain QGIS plugins and extensions tailored to project specifications.
  • Automate geospatial analysis workflows using Python (PyQGIS) to improve efficiency and reproducibility.
  • Prepare high-quality cartographic maps and visualizations for reports, presentations, and decision support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to understand requirements and transform them into geospatial solutions.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly in both written and verbal form to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Expertise in QGIS, including spatial database management, geoprocessing, and map production.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience automating tasks within QGIS (PyQGIS).
  • Thorough understanding of spatial projections, coordinate systems, and data transformation.
  • Proven ability to customize QGIS through plugin development or scripting.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce professional cartographic outputs tailored to various decision-making contexts.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail while managing multiple project priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in remote or distributed teams supporting external customers.
  • Familiarity with additional open-source GIS tools or cloud-based geospatial platforms.
  • Background in spatial analysis within industries such as environmental science, urban planning, or resource management.
