POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction and supervision of the Healthy Living Program Director, the Part-time Community Health Instructor will conduct safe, effective, and educational wellness classes designed specifically to meet the needs of our community members.
The Community Health Instructor will promote community health, both internally and externally, for the YMCA of Greater Boston.
The candidate will commit to and support the Y mission and vision to advance community-integrated health.
Promote the Y’s ability to serve health seekers in preventing chronic disease or living well with chronic disease.
Support the Healthy Living Program Director in achieving all the chart of work deliverables necessary to build the organization’s capacity to launch one or more community health programs.
Additionally, this role will coordinate community outreach and engagement efforts, as well as support the implementation and delivery of four core community health programs, ensuring culturally responsive, accessible, and high-impact services for diverse populations.
