About the role

  • Supervisory Role: You will oversee Housing and Support team members at your site, ensuring high standards of service and support.
  • Collaborative Leadership: With the Housing and Support Manager, you’ll foster a whole‑team approach to delivering progression opportunities, working closely with the Progression Team Manager.
  • Managing High‑Risk Cases: You will handle a small caseload of residents with high‑level risks or needs, ensuring they receive the appropriate support and care.
  • Cross‑Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to enhance resident experience.
  • Revenue and Service Charge Maximisation: Assist the Housing and Support Manager in maximising rent and service charge income to maintain the financial stability of services.
  • Safeguarding Responsibilities: You will be responsible for safeguarding residents at your service, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
  • Maximising Housing Occupancy: Maximise occupancy by managing referrals, inducting new residents, and liaising with partner agencies.
  • Compliance and Behaviour Management: Ensure adherence to Tenancy and Licence conditions, decisively addressing anti‑social behaviour and following YMCA policies and procedures.
