Join Our Team as a Relief Accommodation Project Worker – Ipswich
Are you passionate about making a difference in young people\\\’s lives? We\\\’re looking for dedicated Relief Accommodation Project Workers to support our growing team across YMCA accommodation sites in Ipswich.
In this rewarding role, you\\\’ll help create a safe, supportive, and homely environment for young residents as they navigate their journey with YMCA. You\\\’ll play a key part in maintaining high standards of care and supervision within our residential areas.
Responsibilities
- Support the accommodation team across YMCA sites in Ipswich.
- Help maintain a safe, supportive, and homely environment for young residents.
- Contribute to high standards of care and supervision within residential areas.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to show empathy.
- Be a team player who works well under pressure.
- Flexible around working hours.
- Good admin and communication skills to maintain client records and liaise with external agencies.
- An understanding of current mental health issues.
- Able to manage challenging behaviour.

Days and Hours
Various shifts are available, on an as and when required basis. Our teams work 7 days a week; day, evening and night shifts are available. Please indicate your preferred availability on application.
