The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 £ per hour.
As Youth & Community Project Worker your role is to create a safe, inclusive and engaging space for young people and the wider community. You will work closely with the Youth & Community Project Manager and other Project Workers to develop, deliver and evaluate youth and community programmes within our Community Hub which support project aims, meet funding requirements and align with YMCA Trinity's core values.
In this varied role, you will interact with members of the public as part of Youth & Community Programmes including a digital hub, community fridge, Youth Club, advice & guidance, in-school outreach and life & career skills.
Qualifications
- Have an understanding of the holistic development of children and young people
- Significant experience of working with communities/the public, either as a volunteer or in employment
- Ability to engage with young people, their support network and the community

Recruitment Process
In accordance with safer recruitment processes many of the roles we recruit for require successful candidates to undertake an appropriate criminal record background check. If an offer of work is accepted, YMCA Trinity Group will facilitate these checks on behalf of our staff and volunteers via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Schedule & Pay
Days and hours: 21 hours per week, on Tues/Weds/Thurs. 12-7pm. Subject to change dependent on programme. Salary: £12.53 per hour.
