The Cresset Ltd is looking for committed Cleaners to help keep our building and grounds clean, safe, and welcoming for all visitors. Join the team at The Cresset, one of Peterborough's leading multi-purpose venues, hosting live entertainment, community activities and corporate events. As part of YMCA Trinity Group, you'll join a supportive organisation of over 450 staff and volunteers.
What You'll Do:
As a Cleaner, you will play an essential part in maintaining the high cleaning and presentation standards across The Cresset. You'll ensure our indoor and outdoor areas remain safe, tidy, and ready to deliver an excellent experience for our customers and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out cleaning duties across designated areas, including the Public House, public spaces, offices, facilities, and outside areas (sweeping, rubbish collection, waste removal).
- Assist Supervisors in maintaining The Cresset's high cleaning standards and organise your own workload to meet operational needs.
- Report maintenance issues promptly and help maintain a safe, healthy, and secure environment.
- Use cleaning materials safely in accordance with COSHH and manufacturer guidelines, ensuring correct products are requisitioned.
- Maintain all cleaning equipment and machinery in good working order.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, customers, and contractors.
What You'll Need:
- Experience Cleaning Buildings, Including Public And Office Spaces.
- Ability to organise cleaning routines and work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of cleanliness.
Days and hours:
We have two shift patterns available:
- Position 1: 18 hours per week. Working 6 days across a 7‑day rota (Sunday-Saturday).
- Position 2: 16 hours per week. Working 6 days across a 7‑day rota (Sunday-Saturday).

Salary and Benefits:
Salary is £12.21 per hour. Additional benefits we offer include:
