A rewarding role where you can help to make a positive difference to a young person’s life. At our Peterborough sites, we currently offer two types of accommodation, each tailored to meet different local needs. While both provide the same essential support services, they are set within unique environments, offering access to a variety of on-site and nearby facilities to help young people thrive and grow in independence.

About the role

As an Accommodation Project Worker, you’ll help young people build the skills they need to live independently, offering support through personalised plans, key working, and life skills coaching. You’ll help create a safe, welcoming space where residents feel at home, while also pitching in with the day-to-day running of the service.

In accordance with safer recruitment processes many of the roles we recruit for require successful candidates to undertake an appropriate criminal record background check. If an offer of work is accepted, YMCA Trinity Group will facilitate these checks on behalf of our staff and volunteers via the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Days and hours

You will be contracted to 40 Hours Per Week. This is a combination of Early Shifts (8am-4:30pm), mid shift (11am-7:30pm) and Late Shifts (1:30pm-10pm). The role also includes working alternate weekends and includes on call duties.
