Vacancy Early Years Educator, Term time only, 13.5 hours per week - fixed term contract until 19th December 2025. This position will commence from the September 2025 term.
Location: YMCA Childcare, Water Lane, Lowestoft, Suffolk, NR32 2NH
At YMCA Childcare we are looking for an Early Years Educator to work within our 2.5-4yr room. Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of children and their families? Do you have a warm smiling face that makes every child feel special? Can you pretend to enjoy eating mystery creations from playdough? Are you prepared to have lots of fun? Laughter is a huge part of our day! Do you have the ability to sing very loud - in tune or out of tune? If a child requested you be the pirate of their ship, would you have the skills to be the best pirate? If the answer is yes, then we want to hear from you!
The Ideal Candidate Requires The Following Skills And Qualifications:
- Qualified with a minimum relevant Early Years Level 3 qualification, or equivalent
- A minimum of two years post qualifying experience
- Extensive working knowledge of the EYFS
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Be motivated to provide high quality Childcare at all times

Days and hours: 13.5 hours per week, term time only Thursday and Friday, 8.00am-3.15pm
Salary: £7,232.18 per annum (£12.51 per hour)
