Permanent Part Time Early Years Educator 18 hours, Term time only.

We have two part-time positions available:

  • Monday–Tuesday
  • Thursday–Friday

YMCA Trinity Group is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Educator to join our vibrant childcare setting in Lowestoft.

The role

Are you excited about sparking curiosity, inspiring little imaginations, and helping children learn through play? We’re searching for a fun, creative Early Years Educator to join our cheerful, supportive team.

As an Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the room and ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.

  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the room
  • Providing high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS
  • Working as part of a friendly, experienced, and supportive team
  • Using your initiative while also taking direction when needed
  • Bringing creativity, vision, and enthusiasm to your practice

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • A minimum of two years post-qualifying experience
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Great IT skills and a collaborative spirit

Safer Recruitment

In line with safer recruitment processes, successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, facilitated and paid for by YMCA Trinity Group.

Days and hours

This role is contracted for 18 hours per week. We have two shift patterns available:

  • Position 1: Thursday & Friday — 8:00am to 6:00pm
  • Position 2: Monday & Tuesday — 8:00am to 6:00pm

Salary and Benefits

Salary is £9642.90 per annum. Additional benefits we offer include:
