YMCA Trinity Group is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Educator to join our vibrant childcare setting in Lowestoft. Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and creating a joyful, safe and stimulating environment for children to thrive? We’re looking for a dedicated Early Years Educator to join our vibrant and supportive team.

As an Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day running of the room and ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children.

  • Supporting the day‑to‑day running of the room
  • Providing high‑quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS
  • Working as part of a friendly, experienced and supportive team
  • Using your initiative while also taking direction when needed
  • Bringing creativity, vision and enthusiasm to your practice

What You’ll Need:

  • A relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • A minimum of two years post‑qualifying experience
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Great IT skills and a collaborative spirit

In accordance with safer recruitment processes many of the roles we recruit for require successful candidates to undertake an appropriate criminal record background check. If an offer of work is accepted, YMCA Trinity Group will facilitate these checks on behalf of our staff and volunteers via the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Days and hours: 28.5 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday 9:00 am‑4:00 pm, Thursday 9:00 am‑3:00 pm and 9‑12 on a Friday.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary is £14,732.21 (Term Time, includes holiday pay). Additional benefits we offer include:
