YMCA Trinity Group is looking for a Childcare Cleaner to join our childcare team and help provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for children, families and staff.
About the Role
As a Childcare Cleaner, you will play an important role in ensuring our childcare setting remains hygienic, safe and well maintained. Working under the direction of the Childcare Manager, you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the nursery to a high standard and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the setting.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the childcare setting, including play areas, kitchen facilities, staff areas and washrooms.
- Clean and sanitise all surfaces, flooring, furniture, fixtures and internal windows to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for children and staff.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely, adhering to Health & Safety, COSHH and policies and procedures.
- Manage waste disposal, replenish consumable supplies and monitor cleaning stock levels, reporting shortages when required.

Days and hours
You will be contracted to work 10 hours a week, Monday to Friday – Preferably 6pm-8pm, however other working options would be considered.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is £6609.20 per annum. Additional benefits we offer include:
