YMCA Childcare is a vibrant childcare setting in Lowestoft. Initially based within our 2–4 year old room, helping children learn, grow, and thrive.
Are you excited about sparking curiosity, inspiring little imaginations, and helping children learn through play? We’re searching for a fun, creative Early Years Educator to join our cheerful, supportive team.
As an Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the room and ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.

- Supporting the day-to-day running of the room
- Providing high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS
- Working as part of a friendly, experienced, and supportive team
- Using your initiative while also taking direction when needed
- Bringing creativity, vision, and enthusiasm to your practice

What You’ll Need:
- Qualified with full and relevant Early Years qualifications, or equivalent, minimum Level 3
- A minimum of two years post qualifying experience
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Great IT skills and a collaborative spirit
In line with safer recruitment processes, successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, facilitated and paid for by YMCA Trinity Group.
Days and hours
This role is contracted for 24 hours per week and is term-time only.
The working pattern is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:45am – 4:15pm
A 30-minute unpaid break is included each day.
Salary and Benefits
£13,462.35
