YMCA Trinity Group has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Educator to join our childcare setting on Wellington Street. The role will involve supporting the childcare team with the day to day running of the room, planning for a group of key children, and providing high quality learning experiences for children.

As the successful candidate you will be skilled, imaginative, have vision, drive and the ability to use your own initiative and take direction where needed. You must also have a sound knowledge of the EYFS and how you can use this to plan for children’s learning and development.

  • Can you get hands on with messy activities that excite and engage children?

  • Do you get excited about children’s learning and development?
  • Do you love sharing ideas within a team and have the drive to see them through?

You should have the following qualities:

  • Qualified with a relevant Early Years Level 2 or 3 qualification, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years post qualifying experience
  • Extensive working knowledge of the EYFS
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Ability to work well within a team

Days and hours: You will be contracted to work 36 hours per week, across 4 days.

Salary is £23,418.72 per annum. Additional benefits we offer include:
