Fire Safety Project Manager in Walthamstow

About The Role

Property Services is a vital part of YMCA St Paul's Group, ensuring our buildings remain safe, compliant, well-maintained and fit for the communities we serve. Working within the Asset Investment and Programmes team, the Fire Safety Project Manager plays a critical role in delivering the Group's fire safety programme, helping to ensure that our residents, staff and visitors are protected through effective fire safety management, compliance and investment.

Your Role Will Focus On The Following Responsibilities:

• Deliver fire safety surveys and inspections, ensuring that fire safety standards are maintained and compliance requirements are met.
• Manage Fire Safety Projects And Major Works Programmes, overseeing contractors, consultants and Employer's Agents to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Ensure Compliance And Building Safety by supporting the organisation in meeting all statutory, regulatory and building safety obligations relating to fire safety.
• Provide Specialist Fire Safety Expertise by offering professional advice and technical support to senior managers and operational teams on fire safety matters.
• Support Effective Asset And Compliance Management by maintaining accurate records within the Group's asset management and compliance systems.
• Put Residents At The Heart Of Decision-making by building positive relationships with residents, colleagues, contractors and stakeholders.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds a recognised professional qualification in building safety, fire safety or a related construction discipline.
• Has significant experience delivering complex fire safety projects and programmes.
• Has a strong understanding of fire safety legislation and regulations.
• Can effectively manage contracts, budgets, project risks and performance.
• Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Is organised, analytical and committed to delivering safe, compliant and high-quality services.

This is a Full Time role. Hours per week: 35 hours per week with occasional unsocial hours working.
