We're looking for a compassionate, calm and resilient individual to join our team.
You'll provide practical and emotional support, help residents manage challenges and crises, maintain a safe and welcoming environment and respond confidently to situations as they arise.

About You
We are looking for someone who understands the needs of our young adults and who is passionate about providing effective and engaging services that support the emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing of YMCA Northamptonshire residents residing in our supported accommodation.
The role focus is on promoting wellbeing, building confidence, developing independent living skills and preparing and supporting residents to move into employment and onto a future beyond the YMCA.
The support we provide is asset-based, trauma informed and person-centred and the post holder will need to understand and work within these frameworks.
We're looking for someone who
- Has experience working with vulnerable adults or young people, ideally within supported housing, leaving care services or a similar environment.
- Has a strong understanding of Safeguarding and Professional Boundaries
- Builds positive, trusting relationships through kindness, empathy and respect.
- Remains calm and confident when managing challenging situations or supporting individuals in crisis.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is well organised, able to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Believes every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed.
Most importantly, you'll share our passion for supporting young people and helping them build brighter futures.
The role is 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
