About the Role
YMCA Robin Hood Group is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead our dedicated team of Housing Duty Workers across our Nottingham City Centre accommodation buildings. Your role will involve ensuring operational standards are met, staff feel supported and fostering a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support your team with operational challenges.
- Conduct 1-2-1s and annual appraisals.
- Act as an escalation point for queries.
- Facilitate activities and events for residents.
- Ensure compliance with processes.
- Oversee training and development.
- Manage recruitment and onboarding.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
This is the perfect role for anyone who enjoys variety, loves being busy and thrives off never being able to predict exactly what will happen that day! You will work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. We work on a 2-week rolling rota so you would have advance warning of your shift patterns. The rota pattern is:
- 8am to 4pm
- 3pm to 11pm
There is no requirement for you to work weekends; we have a separate team for that! You will need a car and UK driving license to be able to do this job as you will travel between our locations frequently.
