Join our YMCA Camp Williams team and work with us for any of the forthcoming school holidays: February Half Term, Easter, May Half Term and the Summer Holidays! As an Activity Leader, we need you to help run sessions, ensuring the children are well looked after, engaged, supported and most importantly having fun! You’ll inspire young people to develop their own creativity, self‑esteem and to value integrity, respect and collaboration with others.
We divide the children into age groups and have different, age‑relevant activities planned for the day. We run "skills clinics" for children ages 8‑14 years old, every morning of Camp Williams for them to learn a new hobby, practice a favourite sport or try something for the very first time!
We are looking for Activity Leaders to run sessions in:
- Chess
- Skateboarding
- Archery
- Swimming
Or, if you just love working with kids and want to be part of Camp Williams, there is a place for you too. If you have experience in coaching, teaching, leading or even enjoying any of these activities as a hobby, we’d love to hear from you!

This role would suit someone looking to gain experience with working with children, to support your current studies or career progression by gaining substantial and meaningful experience through the school holidays.
