YMCA Robin Hood Group are looking for an energetic team player with a strong background in commercial management. You will be responsible for successfully managing projects across our organisation, including procuring lease and purchasing homes, maximising project margin, by adding value to the development process through cost management and driving best value and reporting amongst other responsibilities.

The role involves working with the Chief Operating Officer as well as all our services and Departments within the Group to ensure that the property needs are met, through delivery of strategic goals for the business areas and to develop a plan to achieve them. Working to relevant legislative standards as well as customer expectations, this role will be instrumental in reviewing and developing operational processes to improve performance and support growth.

Working largely autonomously, this role also has responsibility for driving best value from suppliers and contractors by pro-active cost management and procurement through daily operations.

Our ideal candidate will have a relevant HND/Degree or equivalent supported by practical experience and knowledge in the commercial property sector. You will have a solid understanding of property/construction Law and be driven by your own personal desire to raise property standards and ensure everyone has a safe place to call home. You will be motivated and organised, with the ability to multi-task across a number of projects.

We are looking for you to be able to demonstrate your experience in maximising project margin, adding value to the development process through proactive involvement in procurement, cost management and reporting, and driving best value from suppliers and subcontractors.

It goes without saying you will be an excellent communicator who is able to build trusted and long-lasting partnerships. You have excellent reporting writing and presentation skills as well as the ability to engage people at all levels.

It is essential you have a full driving licence and access to your own car as travel between our new and existing sites is required. This would be on a weekly basis where you would mainly be expected to travel across Nottinghamshire and East Riding of York.
