We are looking to recruit a new Housing Service Support Manager for our Supported Housing service in Nottinghamshire. This role will lead and manage day‑to‑day operations to ensure the young people who live in our service are safe and supported. You will be passionate about providing opportunities for our young people to learn the valuable skills they need to move toward living independently.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Youth Support Workers and Senior Youth Support Workers, ensuring they meet KPIs.
  • Manage the budget for the service area including staffing, equipment, funded projects, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance and Domestic teams to ensure properties are turned around quickly and maintained to high standards.
  • Proactively manage personal charges, housing benefit claims, occupancy, periods of voids and work closely with the Local Authority to identify new tenants.
  • Provide support for incidents and complete investigations and reflective practice sessions to identify learnings.
  • Manage KPIs and analyse data to prepare reports providing insight into the effectiveness and performance of the service area.
  • Provide support or project‑manage newly funded projects.
  • Support teams, foster a journey of development and improvement and build relationships with external partners and stakeholders to leverage services and community initiatives for residents.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Background in supported housing and knowledge of support accommodation, the challenges residents face, and awareness of available support and third parties.
  • Excellent communication skills: inspirational, able to engage and motivate staff and residents in 1‑to‑1 and group settings.
  • Experience leading teams or a desire to step into management; development support available.
  • Full driving licence desirable if travel between sites is required; otherwise access by public transport.
