YMCA Newark & Sherwood Activity and Community Village is looking for motivated Health & Fitness Coaches to deliver engaging, inclusive fitness classes and gym-based support for children, young people, and adults.

As a Health & Fitness Coach, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of fitness sessions, from group classes to supervised gym training, ensuring every member feels supported, included, and motivated to achieve their goals.

Your role will go beyond delivering sessions—you’ll help create a positive and welcoming environment, build strong relationships with members, encourage participation and retention, and act as a role model for people of all ages and abilities.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Personal Training qualification (or equivalent) and have experience delivering functional fitness classes.

A passion for working with children and young people is essential.
