Location: Selby

Salary: £32,564 plus £80 per sleep-ins

Hours: 40 hours per week including weekends and bank holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Be a key support for the Home Management to achieve and maintain an OFSTED rating of good or outstanding.
  • Ensure the safety, security and most importantly, the well-being of our children is maintained.
  • Provide calm, reassuring care.
  • Support and manage the day-time team to help keep the house clean, cosy, and running smoothly.
  • Get to know the kids – what they like, what they need, and how to support them.
  • Follow our therapeutic model to help them stay calm and feel safe during dysregulated moments.
  • Keep clear, up-to-date records.
  • Be a team player creating a great working environment within the home.
  • Prioritise your continual development and be open to learning new things.

  • Flexible – You’ll work a rota of long days, evenings, sleep-ins, and weekends – we plan ahead but value your support when things change.
  • A full UK licence is essential to use our home’s car for school runs and activities.
  • An enhanced DBS with child barred list check is required to work safely with children.
