What Will You Be Doing?
- Supporting & Motivating Members: Conducting fitness assessments, creating personalised workout plans, and providing ongoing encouragement to help members reach their goals.
- Gym Floor Supervision: Monitoring the gym floor, demonstrating correct exercise techniques, and ensuring all equipment is used safely and correctly.
- Maintaining Excellence: Conducting daily and deep cleaning checklists, reporting equipment faults promptly, and delivering customer service that leaves visitors feeling valued and uplifted.
What Skills and Experience Do You Need?
- Qualifications: A Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing (or equivalent).
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of gym experience delivering exercise instruction and gym floor supervision.
- Core Skills: Strong knowledge of fitness principles, excellent customer service and communication skills, and a proactive awareness of health and safety.
Desirable elements include a Level 3 Personal Training qualification and a GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
