We are seeking a dedicated and welcoming individual to join our team as a Community Cafe Assistant located at Lipscomb Hall in Cockfield. If you are passionate about providing exceptional service and helping your local community thrive, we encourage you to apply!

What Will You Be Doing?
- Food & Drink: Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality meals and barista-style coffee.
- Creating Environment: Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and attractive cafe that the community actively seeks out.
- Supporting Others: Working alongside and supporting volunteers, learners, and apprentices as they gain catering qualifications.
- Daily Operations: Assisting with cashing up, record keeping, and stock taking to ensure smooth day-to-day delivery.
What Skills and Experience Do You Need?
- Experience: Prior experience in a well-respected cafe environment.
- Cooking Skills: The ability to prepare and cook meals from scratch (or a genuine willingness to learn!).
- Communication: Excellent communication skills—staying calm, relaxed, and encouraging when working with learners and volunteers.
- Flexibility: A flexible approach to working hours, including a rota pattern and occasional weekends.
- Qualifications: A relevant food hygiene certificate.
