YMCA Heart of England is looking for a Weekend Concierge to join the team based in Erdington, Birmingham. The successful candidate will join us on a part time, permanent contract working 12 hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £14,000.36 per annum.
At YMCA Heart of England, we have over 100 employees working across multiple sites in Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry and Warwickshire, who are all committed to delivering our mission, to inspire young people to discover their potential so that they can live life in all its fullness. We provide accommodation for more than 340 young people, many of whom have experienced homelessness, and support them to get their lives back on track. We also run a children's nursery and deliver youth work in areas of high need, manage two community centres with conferencing facilities and deliver a range of business to business training, all of which create employment opportunities and deliver income for our charitable work.

About The Weekend Concierge Role
Our concierges are involved in the delivery of a customer-focused housing management service to our tenants within a safe and secure environment. The ability to work under pressure and deal with situations in a calm and competent manner is essential, along with experience of working with disadvantaged/vulnerable people and knowledge of the issues that they face. A thorough understanding of Safeguarding and Professional Boundaries will be an asset to the successful candidate.
