To support the Talent Manager in delivering effective recruitment services across Early Years, Youth Services, Programmes, and Central Support teams.

Main Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Provide onboarding support for new candidates, including DBS checks, reference requests, offer letters and employment contracts.
  • Manage the recruitment inbox, responding promptly to queries from candidates, managers, and teams.
  • Coordinate and publish internal and external job adverts in collaboration with hiring teams.
  • Review applications, shortlist candidates, and share CVs with Hiring Managers.
  • Arrange and coordinate safeguarding interviews as part of the recruitment process.
  • Produce and communicate a weekly recruitment tracker to support key people metrics.
  • Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

  • Ability and willingness to relate positively to customers and staff in a confidential manner.
  • A willingness to learn, being solution oriented and curious with an appetite to continually review and improve processes.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritise a busy changing workload.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both customers and staff.
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills (ability to build relationships and gain credibility to achieve results, either face‑to‑face or over the phone).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • An ability to use your own initiative.
  • An ability to work under pressure and accurately to deadlines.
  • Good organisational and sound administrative capability.

Experience required:

  • Previous experience in a recruitment administration or coordination role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience using HRIS systems is desirable.
