Job Purpose
To assist the Supported Housing Manager and Supported Housing Area Manager with daily tasks of administration, planning and organising. To provide front of house reception and administrative support for residents including answering queries, diary management, help with correspondence and appointment making, and signposting.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver front of house administrative support to the management team and to residents
- Answering telephone calls, scheduling appointments, organising diaries and meetings, booking rooms
- Undertaking delegated tasks such as generating reports and creating documents
- Tasks generated by residents including processing payments, electric cards, helping interpret correspondence, making appointments and liaison with the wider team on residents behalf
- Data entry on IT systems, interrogating systems for data and producing reports
- Generating and distributing correspondence
- Support rent arrear, rent collection and payment processes
- Calmly and efficiently deal with an assesses level of challenging behaviour
Qualifications & Experience
- A very good level of computer literacy and experience of using databases
- Experience of working with young people
- Experience of working in housing management/services role is desirable
- An understanding of the issues facing young people
- Training in trauma informed approaches to communication will be an advantage
- A working knowledge of equality, diversity and inclusions matters

- An outgoing and friendly personality; able to communicate well and engage with a wide range of people, particularly young people
- A methodical and accurate approach to work, able to complete tasks to deadlines and present good reports, both written and verbal
