We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Health & Safety & Fire Safety Support Coordinator to join our Place & Environment team. This role will provide key support whilst working alongside our highly experienced Health and Safety Team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Head of Health & Safety, Fire and Lead Coordinator in ensuring the safety of all individuals within One YMCA.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships across all areas of the organisation, driving engagement and a culture of safety.
- Administer and support the Health & Safety and Fire Safety initiatives and programme of work.
- Provide day-to-day support for health and safety management tasks, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Play a crucial role in the continued development of safety protocols and ensure they are effectively communicated and implemented.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with a diverse group of people.
- Experience in Health & Safety and/or Fire Safety management (preferred, but not essential).
- A proactive and inclusive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to assist in the administration of safety programmes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Access to a vehicle for travel in the course of your work, along with suitable business insurance to cover work-related travel.
