Role Overview
We are recruiting for a SEND Senior Delivery Coordinator to join our CYP - Disability Services team. This role is to lead, coordinate, and deliver a high‑quality programme of Short Break activity clubs for children at our Leatherhead and Epsom venues. You will manage and support teams to deliver inclusive, stimulating, fun sessions and promote positive outcomes.
Working Hours
35 hours per week, 9:00 am‑5:00 pm (including a 1‑hour unpaid break)
Working Pattern
- Term‑time: Tuesday‑Saturday OR Wednesday‑Sunday
- School Holidays: Monday‑Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Service Delivery, Planning and Engagement: Plan and deliver a structured programme of enjoyable, recreational, high‑quality activities for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities. Deliver area clubs in line with agreed delivery plan, attendance, staff and budget. Provide operational coordinator or leader cover across Disability Services as required. Develop strategies and behavioural support plans for young people attending activities.
- Leadership and Staff Development: Lead and line‑manage a team of Play & Youth Workers, Disability Leaders, and volunteers. Provide guidance, advice, and coaching as the lead practitioner, including on‑site management of club structure. Design and deliver training sessions to CYP staff.
- Administration and Evaluation: Coordinate planning, allocation of places, and staffing to ensure safe and efficient delivery of clubs in line with agreed delivery plans and budget. Maintain and monitor attendance levels, waiting lists, and activity budgets. Work closely with children, young people, and their families to identify suitable social, recreational, and leisure activities, and capture their feedback to shape future club sessions.
- Compliance, Safeguarding and Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with Safeguarding Children and Safeguarding Adults at Risk policies. Ensure any accidents, incidents or safeguarding concerns are logged, triaged, filed and actions completed in a timely manner. Monitor Short Breaks clubs to ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements. Monitor delivery staff's work compliance to ensure they are up to date and safe to work.
