Hours: 37.5 per week (includes evening and weekends)

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £22,721.25 per annum (payable monthly)

General Overview:

To assist with the management team on shift, ensuring great customer service and providing a high standard of motivation and role model for our team of apprentice staff.

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth running of the breakfast, food, conference and bar as well as the day to day operation.
  • Support managers and team ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
  • Provide a high standard of motivation and be a superb role model for our team of apprentices.
  • Ensure high standards are achieved and internal operations are performed in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Meet, greet and register guests, and provide continuous outstanding guest service during their stay.
  • Make and modify reservations accurately and efficiently.
  • Multi-task as hotel operator and carry out concierge duties.
  • Maintain a positive and upbeat persona with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain detail-oriented at all times.

Skills & Experience:

  • Confident individual who is committed to providing opportunity to vulnerable young people.
  • Team player and also able to work on own initiative.
  • Self-motivated and flexible.
  • Ability to provide emotional and social support whilst promoting learning and respect.
  • Willingness to accept leadership and mentoring from management.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
  • Commitment to providing a high standard of customer care.
  • Ideally some hospitality or customer facing background, or willingness to undergo training.
  • Willingness to undergo training in EPOS, PMS (Property Management Systems) OTAs (Online Travel Agents).
  • Flexible attitude and willing to adapt to new pressures.
  • I.T and social media skills would be a distinct advantage.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Relevant Level 2 qualification or relevant proven experience.
  • Excellent standard of written and verbal English.
  • Personal licence or willingness to undergo training.
