We are looking for enthusiastic, honest and hardworking people to join our team in Somerset. We work in partnership with Somerset Council to deliver a contract providing a key service of supported accommodation for young people aged 16-24.

You will work collaboratively with young people to provide support and build professional, positive and trusting relationships with them. This role involves modelling, teaching and encouraging positive behaviours to young people to ensure that their independent accommodation is managed effectively and they are supported to develop as individuals and fulfil their potential.

We are growing and extending our passionate Young Persons’ Housing team in Somerset and are keen to find people who really believe in young people and their potential and who are motivated to make a real difference for young people and communities.

Creating professional, positive and trusting relationships are key to working with every young person, in order to provide a supportive environment where they can make steps to move on to greater independence and achieve goals that matter to them. Our teams take an asset-based approach to actively encourage positive progression for all the individuals we work alongside.

If you’re ready to make a real impact and facilitate transformative change, we look forward to receiving your application.

Whilst there are systems in place to support you, a substantial part of the role includes the ability to lone work. Therefore, we require someone competent and confident when working alone and somebody who is able to understand and work with complex and challenging behaviours appropriately.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children and young people. We follow a safer recruitment process; all appointments are subject to an Enhanced DBS check and are required to provide two suitable references.
