What we are looking for in you
We’re expanding our vibrant, committed Young Persons’ Housing team across Somerset—and this is your chance to be part of something truly meaningful.
We’re searching for passionate individuals who believe wholeheartedly in young people—their strengths, their potential, and their capacity to thrive. If you’re driven to make a genuine difference in their lives and the communities we serve, we want to hear from you.
At the heart of this role is building positive, professional, and trusting relationships with every young person. You’ll create a safe, encouraging environment where they feel empowered to take steps toward greater independence and achieve goals that matter to them.
Our team champions an asset-based approach, celebrating each individual’s unique abilities and actively supporting their positive progression. If you’re ready to have real impact and help inspire transformative change, we can’t wait to receive your application.
While you’ll be supported by robust systems and a dedicated team, this role also calls for confidence and capability to work independently. You’ll need to feel comfortable working alone and be skilled in engaging with complex and challenging behaviours with empathy and professionalism.
Come and be part of a team that’s changing lives—one young person at a time.
If you\’re ready to make a real impact and facilitate transformative change, we look forward to receiving your application.
Whilst there are systems in place to support you, a substantial part of the role includes the ability to lone work. Therefore, we require someone competent and confident when working alone and somebody who is able to understand and work with complex and challenging behaviours, appropriately.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children and young people. We follow a safer recruitment process, all appointments are subject to an Enhanced DBS check and are required to provide two suitable references.
