This is a rare opportunity to undertake a full and relevant, outdoor-based Early Years Apprenticeship. You will gain experience in Early Years Outdoor play and Bushcraft. Learn to design and adapt outdoor environments to meet all children's needs. Lead safe and meaningful outdoor experiences in line with curriculum and development goals and create inclusive, engaging spaces that enable active learning.

Each of our nurseries are designed to meet the needs of each child. We have a play-based curriculum which focuses upon being outdoors, giving children limitless possibilities to explore and learn whilst having fun. You will work collaboratively with other members of your teams to engage children in stimulating activities to foster their creativity. You will have the flexibility to adapt your approach to suit the needs of each child, possess compassion and empathy, and demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to the safety and well-being of the children.

This is an apprenticeship role, which means we are looking for someone who is eager to learn and partake in professional development opportunities to enhance both their skills and knowledge. Responsibilities:
  • Lead safe and meaningful outdoor experiences in line with curriculum and development goals and create inclusive, engaging spaces that enable active learning.
  • Design and adapt outdoor environments to meet all children's needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to engage children in stimulating activities to foster creativity.
  • Adapt your approach to suit the needs of each child, demonstrate compassion and empathy, and maintain a strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and well-being of the children.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge as part of the apprenticeship.
